Zionsville's Main StreetOne of my favorite events of the year is just around the corner. On Saturday, May 16th Zionsville is the host to the Country Market, a wonderful crafts and arts marketplace, featuring more than 110 artisans from around the country. This year I plan to take photos of the Market and will post them here, so check back for a closer look.

The Country Market takes place on the brick Main Street in the beautiful downtown of Zionsville. The street is lined with antiques stores, restaurants, and specialty stores, but during the Market, the artisans take center stage. The attraction lies in the variety of products available from garden sculptures, antiques, and handmade clothing to oil paintings, pottery and jewelry. There are offerings for the sweet tooth including strawberries and cream (a la Wimbledon) and kettle corn (a sweet popcorn) prepared on site. Nearly every year, a normally rainy month is usually beautiful on the day of the Country Market.

If you are in the Central Indiana area, join me for a fun day appreciating the creative spirit and life in a small town.
